Two UCBNE students receive awards in DOE Innovations Competition
Nuclear Materials Graduate Student, David Frazer has been awarded 1st place in the DOE Innovations in Nuclear Techology R&D Competition. He will present his paper, "Degradation of HT9 under simultaneous ion beam irradiation and liquid metal corrosion" at the ANS Winter Meeting this October is Washington, DC.
Rising junior, Michael Martin, won the Undergraduate Category competition with his work entitled "Feasibility of a Breed-and-Burn Molten Salt Reactor”.
